Experimental Investigation and Numerical Modeling of Elastic Modulus Variation with Stress during Hydration and Expansion Process of Static Cracking Agent

چکیده

Based on the “axial-output method”, time histories of radial and axial expansive pressures during hydration process static cracking agent (SCA) in a cylinder with various diameters were obtained by experiments. With load input taken as product normalized pressure amplitude coefficient, finite element model was established to simulate experimental chemical expansion SCA. The relationships between elastic modulus, then obtained. results indicate that modulus increases increasing pressures, tends be constant. effect Poisson’s ratio discussed unchanged. It is shown inversely proportional has no pressures. Finally, mechanical for variation stress terms major principal stress. verified results, which can extended numerical simulation SCA under other compressive loading conditions, provide practical parameters engineering application
